This is the legal-page version of the notices already shown on every map surface of the site. The surface notices stay; this page is the full statement they point to.
Parts of CalculateMine — the game maps, the map maker, and game-related tools — are unofficial fan works, made by fans for fans. They are provided free, and they are not paywalled.
CalculateMine and its operator, SINSCENTS LLC, are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected with any game publisher or developer, including Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
The GTA V map's base imagery is a long-running community fan map's satellite tile set (community project, code under the WTFPL license), used with credit and fan labeling; pin datasets were compiled by CalculateMine from published community knowledge and the game's own publicly documented trigger locations, with all notes rewritten in our own words. We do not distribute game files, extracted game assets as downloads, or modified game software, and we do not offer cheats or aids for online play.
Where a publisher publishes a fan-content policy, we intend to operate within its spirit: fan language on every surface, trademark credit, no commercial exploitation of the publisher's own assets, no paywall.
Contact us at steve@re4rge.com and identify the material. We comply instantly with takedown requests from rights holders — fan material identified by its owner is removed promptly and without argument, and we will confirm removal to the requester. That commitment is operating practice today, not an aspiration.
Fan maps are best-effort community knowledge. Pins are verified by us against the game's geography as carefully as we can, but a pin may sit off its exact spot, and game updates may move things. If you find an error, tell us at steve@re4rge.com and we will fix it.
